Born in Porto in 1971 under the sign of Capricorn, Paula Amorim has left a meaningful imprint on the business world. Driven by a deep passion for fashion and an entrepreneurial spirit, Paula chose to venture out on her own, creating her own group and brand —a decision rooted in determination and vision. 

In 2005, Paula founded Amorim Fashion, marking her entry into the fashion industry. In 2010, she established the Amorim Luxury Group, a bold move that positioned her as a leader in the luxury sector. With the acquisition of Fashion Clinic, Paula elevated fashion in Portugal, introducing a new level of sophistication. More recently, she expanded the group’s portfolio to include home and lifestyle, launching a women’s ready-to-wear collection under the PAULA brand. Her ventures extend to luxury tourism, including the acquisition of the historic Herdade da Comporta and the creation of iconic restaurants under the JNcQUOI brand—an inspired blend of fashion, gastronomy, and hospitality.

Paula comes from one of Portugal’s most storied business families, with a legacy spanning 150 years. Her family owns Corticeira Amorim, the world’s largest cork producer, where Paula is a key shareholder.
